Denver police recover vehicle allegedly used in interstate shootings

Denver police say they have recovered the vehicle used in a string of shootings that targeted drivers on interstates 25 and 225 early Wednesday morning.

A Denver Police Department spokesperson wrote in an email Friday that officers are investigating four potentially related shootings that took place between 1 and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the southeast and northwest areas of the city. No one was reportedly injured in the incidents.

Aurora police are also investigating at least one shooting they believe is related, police spokesperson Sydney Edwards said.

No arrest had been made in the case as of Friday. Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to contact investigators at 720-913-7867.
