Denver pedestrian killed in crash on North Colorado Boulevard

A pedestrian was killed in a Sunday evening crash on Colorado Boulevard in Denver, police said.

Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene of the crash, in the 3400 block of North Colorado Boulevard, according to a 4:45 p.m. statement from the Denver Police Department.

The block is in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood, near multiple warehouses and storage facilities.

Police said North Colorado Boulevard is closed in both directions for the crash investigation and drivers should avoid the area.

No information about the cause of the crash or if the driver was injured was available Sunday evening.
