No one was hurt but a vehicle was damaged in a shooting late Tuesday night on the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side.
State troopers responded near 79th Street around 11 p.m. for the shooting and found the vehicle was struck twice by gunfire, Illinois state police said.
Northbound lanes were shut down around 1:05 a.m. and reopened just before 2 a.m., state police said.
No injuries were reported.
