CU reveals Buffs football 2025 regular-season schedule

The Big 12 Conference unveiled its football schedule on Tuesday for the 2025 season, which includes a 12-game slate for head coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.

The Buffs will open their season against Georgia Tech on Aug. 30 — the first time the two programs have faced off against each other. Colorado, which capped off its 2024 campaign with their first bowl appearance since 2020, will also host BYU, the team that beat the Buffs in the most recent Alamo Bowl.

These two games are part of the Buffs’ seven-game home schedule, the most the program has had since 1982. Other games at Folsom Field include Delaware (Sept. 6), Wyoming (Sept. 20), Iowa State (Oct. 11), Arizona (Nov. 1) and Arizona State (Nov. 22).

CU’s five road games are against Houston (Sept. 13), TCU (Oct. 4), Utah (Oct. 25), West Virginia (Nov. 8) and Kansas State (Nov. 29).

Times and television schedules for the season’s first three weeks will be announced in late May or early June, as will any announcement of games being moved to Thursday or Friday, according to the Big 12. After the third week, times and broadcasts will typically be released 12 days ahead of game day, with some exceptions.
