Country artist postpones Red Rocks concert ahead of Colorado snowstorm

A country singer will no longer take the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Wednesday night as a second snowstorm and below-freezing temperatures loom over Colorado, the concert venue said.

Dustin Lynch’s concert, originally scheduled for Wednesday evening at the outdoor venue in Morrison, has been moved to April 16, 2025, due to the inclement weather, Red Rocks officials said Tuesday.

“Safety is our top priority and, with the current conditions, we want to ensure the best concert experience possible for everyone,” Lynch wrote in a postponement announcement on X.

All tickets purchased for the November concert will be honored in April, but concert-goers who can’t make the rescheduled date have 30 days to request a refund from AXS, according to the announcement.

Rain is expected to start in Morrison around 5 p.m. Tuesday, turning to snow around 9 p.m. as temperatures fall below freezing, according to the National Weather Service.
