CONCORD — A 53-year-old man was fatally shot in Concord on Tuesday evening, authorities said, marking the city’s second homicide of the year.
Concord police said officers responded at around 9:01 p.m. to several calls “regarding multiple gunshots heard and a person on the ground” near Oak Grove Road and Pear Drive.
The man, who had multiple gunshot wounds, died at the scene, authorities said.
Police did not offer any details about suspects or any arrests made. The police department did not immediately respond to a request for additional information Wednesday afternoon.
