Colorado weather: Light snow forecast Tuesday for mountains, Denver

Light flurries forecast for Colorado on Tuesday are expected to leave traces of snow across the Denver area and several inches in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

As of Monday morning, the weather service’s likely snow forecasts included:

No snow is expected to accumulate on the Eastern Plains, but trace amounts will be possible on the higher end of the forecast, according to the weather service.

Snow is most likely in Denver between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday, and on mountain passes from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday, according to hourly forecasts from the weather service.
