Colorado Springs police searching for missing at-risk boy

Colorado Springs police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 12-year-old boy who they say may be in danger.

Zion Griffin was last seen shortly after 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of South Murray Boulevard, police wrote in a social media post. He is about 5-foot-5, has reddish-brown hair, weighs about 100 pounds and was seen wearing a tan sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black hair cap.

Police said Griffin may be in the area of South Murray Boulevard and Pikes Peak Avenue.

Anyone with information about Griffin’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
