House of LR&C, the clothing store owned by Ciara and Russell Wilson, has closed its location in Denver International Airport as the company shrinks its brick-and-mortar footprint.
Company spokesperson Jaclyn Cummings confirmed the shop, which opened in the summer of 2023, closed “recently” at the end of its lease term. The closure marks the celebrity couple’s final departure from Denver, where they lived while Wilson played quarterback for the Broncos from 2022 to early 2024.
House of LR&C’s first local location opened at the Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree in 2022. At the time, it was the company’s fourth brick-and-mortar store, but it closed as the one in DIA opened.
Once bullish on opening many stores nationwide, the outfitter has pivoted to selling clothes directly to consumers online. In fact, there are no more physical House of LR&C locations, Cummings said.
The company has also seemingly paired down its offerings. House of LR&C featured four of Ciara and Russell Wilson’s original clothing lines, which focused on making sustainable, high-quality apparel that didn’t skimp on fashion. However, now it promotes just one, Good Man Brand, which makes menswear. The former House of LR&C website directs customers to thegoodmanbrand.com.
“The House of LR&C remains in existence as our house company, but our current focus is on growing Russell Wilson’s menswear brand, Good Man Brand,” Cummings said by email. “We are prioritizing direct-to-consumer growth, strategic wholesale partnerships, and pop-up experiences to bring the brand to more customers in an impactful way.”
