Chicago police are searching for a group wanted in a string of burglaries on the Northwest Side.
On Jan. 23, a group of three to four males broke into eight businesses in less than an hour, Chicago police said. They smashed through windows or glass doors before going inside and taking cash register drawers.
The businesses were in the 7000 block of West Higgins Road, the 7200 block of West Harlem Avenue and the 5400 block of West Devon Avenue, police said.
The males were wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing. They fled in a silver Kia Optima, police said.
