Election Day at Sidetrack
3 p.m. at 3349 N Halsted St. Election coverage will start on some TVs at 3 p.m. but takeover much of the bar by 7 p.m. when the regularly scheduled OUTspoken: LGBTQ+ Storytelling event will be held in the Main/Cherry/North Bars.
Power of the Vote Election Night Watch Party
4 p.m. ar Bomb Beauty Boutique, 837 West 115th Street. Light bites, beverages, and a raffle for a free shirt and/or a Visa gift card — with proof of voting — will be at this free event.
Bronzeville Winery Election Day Viewing Party
5 p.m. at 4420 South Cottage Grove Avenue. Reservations can be made for this election night party with food and cocktails.
Queer Election Night Watch Party
5 p.m. at 6840 32nd Street. The family friendly event hosted by Sapphic Before Sunset will have drinks, NA specials and a food truck. Tickets are free.
Election Night at Nobody’s Darling
5 p.m. at 1744 W. Balmoral Ave. Nobody’s Darling will be offering 25% off all tabs with proof of voting.
Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community’s “An evening of crafts, meditation, and tea”
5 p.m. at 211 W 23rd St. The free event, co-hosted by Life Is Tea, will feature crafts, meditation and tea as a way to relax on election night.
Election night at Wilma’s Famous BBQ & Tavern
5:30 p.m. at 17 North Wabash Avenue, Floor 2. Free reservations can be made for this election night party.
District Brew Yards Election Night Watch Party
6 p.m. at 417 N. Ashland Ave. This event will have a BBQ buffet from Lillie’s Q for $20 per person. $5 from each ticket and 10% of all beer purchases go to Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly.
City Club of Chicago Election Night Watch Party
6 p.m. at Chicago firehouse Blue Room, 1401 S. Michigan Ave. Tickets for the event — with guests Anne Caprara, Greg Hart, Christian Perry and Paris Schutz — are $150 for non-members and $100 for members, and the event will feature heavy appetizers and cocktails.
Election night at the Empty Bottle
6 p.m. at 1035 N Western Ave. This free event — with optional donations at the door for the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund — will have DJs playing while the TVs have live results.
In These Times Election Night Watch Party
6:30 p.m. at 2040 N. Milwaukee Ave. Co-hosted by Haymarket Books, Pilsen Community Books and Nabala Cafe, the free event will have movies, board games, food, drinks and “camaraderie.”
UChicago Institute on Politics Election Night Watch Party
6:30 p.m. at 1212 E 59th St. This event is for current UChicago students only, but will have food, games and live reporting.
Election Night with Congressman Jonathan Jackson
6:30 p.m. at 932 E 43rd St. Haven Entertainment Center will have a watch party on a jumbo LED Screen and six large monitors. Tickets are free.
Party for Socialism and Liberation Election Night Watch Party
6:30 p.m. at 2712 W Cermak Rd. The free PSL election night watch party pledges to look beyond the two parties in favor of third party candidates and discussions on building a movement that “fights for justice and liberation.”
Millennial Effect: Election Night Edition 2024
7 p.m. at 2210 S. Michigan Ave. Ald. Stephanie Coleman and Hustle Mommies founder Ariel Deney will host a free watch party for “Black, millennial politicos.”
Election Night at Whiskey Girl Tavern
7 p.m. at 6318 N Clark St. The first round of pizza will be free at the cash bar, with 40th Ward Democrats, Committeewoman Maggie O’Keefe and Ald. Andre Vasquez (40th) watching results coming in alongside patrons.
Chicago Republican Party Election Night Watch Party
7 p.m. at 6724 N Northwest Hwy. Tickets are $25 for this “Back to the Future of Trump” watch party.
Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Phi Kappa Omega Chapter Election Night Watch Party
7 p.m. at Bronzeville Soul, 4655 South Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Drive. This event is free for everyone, including those not in the sorority Kamala Harris is a member of.
Monica Gordon Election Night Watch Party
7 p.m. at 124 S. 5th Ave., Maywood. Hosted by the former Cook County Commissioner and now interim County Clerk — and co-hosted by SEIU 73, Maywood Together Party, Broadview People’s Party and Bellwood First Party — the free event will double as an election night watch party and time to honor the late Karen Yarbrough.
Democratic Party of Evanston Election Night Party with Jan Schakowsky
7 p.m. at Five and Dime, 1026 Davis St Upstairs, Evanston. Co-hosted with the Niles Township Democrats and Committeeperson Josina Morita, the free event requires registration ahead of time.
Libertarian Party of Illinois Election Night Watch Party
7 p.m. at O’Sullivan’s in Forest Park, 7244 Madison St. Candidates Andrew Kopinski, Michael Murphy, Chris Laurent, James Humay, and Nico Tsatsoulis will be present.
Chicago Votes Action Fund Election Night Watch Party
7 p.m. at 1006 S. Michigan Ave. Suite 606. Light refreshments will be provided at this free event.
Presidential Election Night Viewing Party at Robert’s Westside
7 p.m. at 7321 Madison Street, Forest Park. Snacks and dip will be complimentary at this free event, but attendees can bring their own food and snacks as well.
DeKalb County Democratic Party Election Night Watch Party
7 p.m. at 1020 Sharon Dr., DeKalb. This free event will have catering from El Jimador.
New Trier Democrats Watch Party
7 p.m. at Fred’s Garage, 574 Green Bay Rd, Winnetka. Democrats from Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Northfield and Glenview are set to join together for this free event.
Maine Township Dems Watch Party
7 p.m. at Beacon Tap, 1374 Lee St, Des Plaines. This event, where food and drinks will be served, is free with the option to donate to hosts Maine Township Dems.
Delia Ramirez Election Night Party
7:30 p.m. at Markitos Bar and Grill, 3S071 Illinois Rte 59, Unit 110, Warrenville. Congressional Rep. Delia Ramirez will attend an election night watch party before heading off to another later in the evening.
Cook County Republican Party’s Election Night Watch Party
7:30 p.m. at Coach’s Corner Sports Bar & Grill, 8118 W. 143rd Street, Orland Park. This free event will have a complimentary pizza and a cash bar.
Chicago Dramatists Open Mic and Watch Party
8 p.m. at Russ Tutterow Theatre, 798 N. Aberdeen St. This free event, held by Chicago Dramatists, will have an open mic for songs, poems, comedy, monologues or essays. At 9 p.m., the regularly scheduled program Tuesdays@9 will be held, where actors perform 10 pages of new, unproduced plays, teleplays, screenplays or works-in-progress for the audience.
Fair Vote Illinois Election Night Watch Party
8 p.m. at 4644 N Central Ave. This free election party focused on ranked choice voting referendums in Peoria and Oak Park will watch the results of other RCV races across the country in addition to candidate races.
Our Schools Slate Election Night Watch Party
8:45 p.m. at 1901 W Carroll Ave. Kids are welcome at this event hosted by the Chicago Teacher’s Union and United Working Families, which will feature food, drinks, and music from DJ Cashera, as well as some candidates and elected officials.
