One person was sent to the hospital Thursday night after a car crashed into Lone Tree’s Park Meadows Mall.
South Metro Fire Rescue crews and Lone Tree police officers responded to reports of a car that had crashed into the mall’s JCPenney entrance around 8:20 p.m. Thursday, the fire department said in a statement on social media.
Paramedics took one person to the hospital with minor injuries, and no one inside the building was injured, the fire department said.
Officials did not confirm if the injured person was the driver of the car or how many people were in the car when it crashed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
