With just one round of game play remaining in the Masters Tournament, Cameron Young finds himself in the final pairing – the most high-pressure position in golf – alongside one of the sport’s biggest stars, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy. Young came into the competition with very little anticipation of his rise to the top, but now his confidence and form have placed him in a head-to-head tie with one of the sport’s greatest athletes. If he wins the championship, then he will be set for an increase in his net worth alongside the accolade being added to his professional golf portfolio.
Statistically, Cam Young has developed into one of the most complete players in the world. Currently ranked among the top players globally, he combines expert driving power with improved putting and composure under pressure. However, the Masters is as much a mental test as it is a physical one, so Young and all other competitors are being tested in every direction. With several plays, including top ranked Sam Burns, lurking just behind the tied leaders, there is little margin for error in this year’s Masters Tournament – especially in the final round.
