More changes are coming to the Chicago Bulls‘ front office. As the Bulls have representatives at this week’s NBA Draft Combine, scouting for their picks, the front office is expected to make another key change.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Bulls are adding former Golden State Warriors player Acie Law to the front office.
The ex-NBA veteran is expected to take on the title of Vice President of Player Personnel. The Bulls will be his fourth landing spot since taking on front office roles beyond playing the game.
The Bulls’ Major Changes Up Top
After another disappointing season, the Bulls are doing more than just changing up the roster to fully embrace the rebuild.
They have also made changes up top, as well as the coaching staff. Bryson Graham has taken over the Bulls’ front office. This week, Graham decided to cut ties with the Bulls’ NBA G League GM, Josh Malone.
Just as the Bulls subtract somebody, they add another in Law.
Acie Law’s Background
After playing NCAA ball at Texas A&M from 2003 to 2007, Law became a first-round pick, getting selected 11th overall by the Atlanta Hawks.
Law played two seasons with the Hawks before landing with the Golden State Warriors in 2009-2010. He spent just five games with the Warriors before getting moved to Charlotte and then Chicago. There was a 12-game stretch with the Bulls for Law.
The 2010-2011 season served as Law’s final in the league as a player. He started the year with the Memphis Grizzlies. After getting released, Law signed with the Warriors for a second stint. He played 40 more games in Golden State, averaging 15.8 minutes off the bench.
After his run with the Warriors, Law took his talent overseas and became a two-time EuroLeague Champion and a one-time Greek League Champion.
When Law returned to the US, he took on a scout role with the Sacramento Kings. He became the Director of Amateur Scouting for the Oklahoma City Thunder. During the 2025-2026 NBA season, Law serves as the Director of Player Personnel for the Brooklyn Nets.
