Bo Nix’s health leading up to the Broncos’ matchup against the Browns on Monday night is worth monitoring.
The rookie quarterback was listed as a limited participant due to a back injury. Denver’s injury report on Thursday was an estimation since the team held a walkthrough.
It’s unclear when Nix sustained the injury, but he was seen on the broadcast icing his back late in Denver’s victory over the Raiders. He completed 25 of 42 pass attempts for 273 yards and two touchdowns to be named the league’s rookie of the week for the third straight time. Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers was also limited with a shoulder injury.
Defensive lineman Zach Allen (heel) is listed as a full participant, a good sign since he missed last week’s game and wore a walking boot on his right foot while sidelined. However, starting cornerback Riley Moss (knee) was listed as a non-participant.
