The sides agreed to add up to $1.5 million in achievable incentives for 2024 for Denver’s top receiver, a source confirmed Thursday morning to The Post. NFL Network first reported the change.

Sutton during the summer referred to negotiations surrounding his contract as being at “a stalemate,” after he skipped the voluntary portion of the team’s offseason program. He attended the Broncos’ mandatory minicamp in mid-June, however, and reported on time for training camp earlier this week.

Sutton is under contract through 2025 and has $26 million remaining on his deal, but entering this season only $2 million of it is guaranteed. A league source told The Post that the amount of guaranteed money is staying the same under the adjustment, but Sutton can now earn more through incentives this fall. He caught a career-best 10 touchdowns in 2023 but has not crossed the 1,000-yard receiving mark since 2019, his second season in the NFL.

Sutton has a $13 million base salary this year and can also earn up to $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses and $100,000 in other bonuses, according to OvertheCap data.
