Boy, 14, shot inside Gage Park retail store

A teenage boy was wounded in a shooting Friday at a retail store in Gage Park.

The 14-year-old was inside the store about 5:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of West 55th Street when someone approached him and fired shots, striking the boy’s arm, Chicago police said.

The boy was taken in fair condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

No arrests were reported.
