On Friday night, the Boston Celtics will host the New Orleans Pelicans at TD Garden.

The Celtics are coming off a 112-106 loss to the New York Knicks (in Manhattan).

Jaylen Brown did not play in the game.

For Friday’s game, the Celtics have announced that Brown is being listed as questionable on the injury report.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Jaylen Brown (Achilles) questionable Friday.”

Brown is having another fantastic season for the Celtics.

The ten-year veteran is averaging 28.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range in 70 games.

The Celtics come into the night as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 54-26 record in 80 games.

They have won seven out of their last ten games (and are 28-11 at home).

Following the Pelicans, the Celtics will finish up their season on Sunday when they host the Orlando Magic.

The Celtics won the 2024 NBA Championship over the Dallas Mavericks, but they are coming off a season where they lost in the second round of the playoffs.

If they can remain healthy, they will be seen as a team that has an excellent chance to make the 2026 NBA Finals.

Brown’s NBA Career

Brown was the third pick in the 2016 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball at Cal.

He has spent his entire career playing for the Celtics, making five NBA All-Star Games (and winning the 2024 NBA Finals MVP Award).

The 29-year-old has career averages of 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 47.8% from the field in 673 games.
