Two Wednesday morning bomb threats in Brighton prompted evacuations at the Adams County Justice Center and a King Soopers, according to officials.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office first posted about a bomb threat under investigation at the county courthouse, 1100 Judicial Center Drive, at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday. At that time, the building had been evacuated.
A second bomb threat emerged at a King Soopers on Bromley Lane shortly after, according to a 9:04 a.m. post from the Brighton Police Department. The grocery store was evacuated “out of an abundance of caution.”
No additional information about either incident was immediately available.
