Bomb threat at UIC Hospital is deemed unfounded

University of Illinois Chicago officials gave the “all clear” signal Wednesday night after a bomb threat was reported at UIC Hospital.

The school issued an alert about 8:20 p.m. warning of a bomb threat on campus at UIC Hospital, 1740 W. Taylor St. “Prepare to evacuate and follow instructions from authorities,” the alert read.

About 20 minutes later, the school issued a statement saying, “All clear at UIC. Resume regular campus activities.”

No other information about the threat has been released.
