Body wrapped in multiple layers found on abandoned bike trailer in Boulder

The Boulder Police Department is investigating a “suspicious death” after officers found a body on an abandoned bike trailer Sunday.

Boulder officers responded to the 1800 block of Goss Street just after 5 p.m. Sunday to investigate a bike trailer abandoned in the area for several days, according to a statement from the police department.

Goss Street is home to multiple houses, apartment buildings and a student dormitory.

As officers investigated the trailer, they found a body “wrapped in multiple layers,” police said.

Police did not release the person’s identity but said the victim was female and experiencing homelessness.
