Police are investigating a “suspicious death” in Commerce City on Saturday after a body was found hidden behind a dumpster.

Stabbing victim found dead on Cherry Creek Trail in Denver

The body of an unidentified man was found behind a dumpster at East 64th and Holly streets about 11 a.m. Saturday, police said in a statement on social media.

The area around the intersection is home to a townhome complex, Central Elementary School, gas stations and a Commerce City neighborhood.

Police said there is no threat to the public.
