Bills Showing Interest in High-End Weapon for Josh Allen

Over the past few years, the Buffalo Bills have been urged to pursue better weapons for superstar quarterback Josh Allen. They have failed to do so since the Stefon Diggs era.

Earlier this offseason, Brandon Beane and the front office went out and got one. They acquired DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears.

While Moore has a chance to be a clear-cut No. 1 target for Allen, the Bills could still use more help at the wide receiver position. Whether that comes from free agency, another trade, or the 2026 NFL Draft, they simply need to upgrade the position at least one more team.

Keeping that in mind, Buffalo has reported interest in one of the top wide receiver prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft next month.

Buffalo Bills Showing Interest in Elite Wide Receiver Prospect

According to a report from Tony Pauline, the Bills have a private workout planned with Washington wideout Denzel Boston. He is currently being projected by many to be a first-round pick, although there is a chance he could slip into the second round.

“Boston met with the Miami Dolphins at the workout, one day before they traded Jaylen Waddle, and he has workouts planned with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints,” Pauline wrote.

Boston is exactly the kind of move that Buffalo needs to follow up the Moore trade with. He could immediately slot in as a No. 2 or No. 3 target for Allen.

At this point in time, the Bills are scheduled to be on the clock with the No. 26 overall pick in the first round. If Boston is available, there is a chance that Buffalo could scoop him up.

What Would Denzel Boston Bring to the Buffalo Offense?

Standing in at 6-foot-4 and 209 pounds, Boston would bring elite size to the table. He could replace Keon Coleman should the Bills opt to trade him away this offseason.

Last season with the Huskies in college, Boston caught 62 passes for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns. The previous season he racked up 63 catches for 834 yards and nine scores.

NFL.com has listed Boston’s best comparison as Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua. If he could come anywhere close to developing into that kind of player, Buffalo’s offense would be elite and Allen would be a very happy quarterback.

There is no telling what the 2026 NFL Draft has in store for the Bills. No one knows which players will be picked and where they will be picked. Boston is a name worth keeping a close eye on in Buffalo.
