Billie Eilish brings latest blockbuster concert tour to SAP Center in San Jose

Billie Eilish is out on the road with Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour.

It is — believe it or not — already the seventh headlining tour from this young pop star, who is set to turn 23 on Dec. 18. Yeah, that’s what happens when you get a really early start — Eilish was just 16 when she embarked on her first headlining jaunt in 2016 — and, of at least equal importance, ticket demand seems to keep growing each and every year.

The latter certainly appears to be true in the Bay Area, where Eilish is set to perform two big sold-out shows — Dec. 10 and 11 — at the SAP Center in San Jose. Showtime is 7 p.m., ticketmaster.com.

The highly awarded pop star, whose trophy case includes nine Grammys and two Oscars, is out on the road supporting her third full-length studio outing, “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”

The album is another platinum-certified success story for Eilish and it could result in even more shiny hardware appearing on her mantle at the start of the new year, given that “Hit Me Hard and Soft” and its songs received multiple nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards.

A glance at previous setlists on this tour shows that Eilish has been devoting roughly a third of her concert to the new album. But she’s also playing plenty of material from her first two blockbuster albums — 2019’s “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” and 2021’s “Happier Than Ever.”
