Bears WR Keenan Allen returning to practice

For the first time in two full weeks, Bears receiver Keenan Allen will practice.

The team anticipates that Allen will be limited in practice Wednesday afternoon as he works to try to play Sunday against the Rams. Allen has been dealing with a heel injury since last month. He was hampered by it in Week 1 and hasn’t practiced or played in games since. He sat out the Bears’ road games in Houston and Indianapolis.

Allen led the Bears with 11 targets in Week 1. He caught four passes for 29 yards but spent time in the blue injury tent.

Right tackle Darnell Wright has a back injury and will not practice Wednesday. The Bears are “hopeful he’ll work through it” in time for Sunday, coach Matt Eberflus said. If he can’t play, the Bears could turn to Matt Pryor, who started for Nate Davis at right guard Sunday.

Defensive end Darrell Taylor will miss practice because of an illness, Eberflus said.
