The Sun-Times’ experts offer their picks for the Bears’ home game Thursday night against the Seahawks (7:15 p.m., Fox 32, Prime Video):
Rick Morrissey
Seahawks, 27-17: Is there anything to say besides 15 down and two to go? I don’t think so — other than Happy Holidays and 2025 can’t be worse than this. Right? Season: 12-3.
Rick Telander
Bears, 18-17: The Seahawks are an average team. The Bears are not. How can anybody pick the Bears to beat anybody, unless … unless … a person believes they’re not a 4-13 team, but a 5-12 team. Season: 9-6.
Scoop Jackson
Seahawks, 24-22: A team that has to win their next two games to get into the playoffs vs. a team that has lost everything with nothing to lose. Where’s Shane Waldron when we needed him for his revenge game? Season: 9-6.
Patrick Finley
Seahawks, 20-18: The only argument for the Bears is that the wrong team wins on Thursday nights. The Seahawks just played the Vikings a lot closer than the Bears did, though. Season: 13-2.
Jason Lieser
Seahawks, 24-22: One team is fighting to stay alive in its division race. The other is booking Caribbean vacations. Here comes loss No. 10 in a row for the Bears. Season: 11-4.
Mark Potash
Seahawks, 23-10: The Seahawks are traveling on a short week and coming off a tough loss to the Vikings at home. But the fading Bears are particularly prey for any team that needs it more. Season: 10-5.
