Bears-Packers inactives report: Romeo Doubs out, Christian Watson in for season finale

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Packers will play their season finale against the Bears without wide receiver Romeo Doubs, who was put on the injury report with an illness Saturday and was ruled out Sunday morning.

Receiver Christian Watson, who missed last week’s game because of a knee injury, will play.

The Bears had no such surprises on their inactives list Sunday. The Bears ruled out safety Elijah Hicks (ankle/foot), running back Travis Homer (hamstring) and guard Teven Jenkins (calf) on Friday. Defensive tackle Zacch Pickens, linebacker Noah Sewell and defensive back Ameer Speed were healthy scratches.

Jenkins will become a free agent this offseason and isn’t likely to re-sign with the Bears. Concerns about his durability have dogged Jenkins since the Bears drafted him in the second round four years ago. He’s appeared in 45 out of a possible 68 games over four years and has failed to finish many others.

Latest on the Bears
The Bears have totaled 704 yards in the first quarter, the fewest in the NFL this year
Brisker, who was eying a Pro Bowl selection in his third season, played just five games.
Quarterback Caleb Williams has a chance to finish his rookie season on a high note.
