The Bears named Laura Anderson their senior vice president of administration and chief financial officer Monday. She’d served in a similar role at the Big Ten, which is where current Bears president/CEO Kevin Warren worked before joining the Bears two years ago.
She’ll oversee finances and accounting for the team at a time where it is preparing to build a new stadium either in Arlington Heights or downtown Chicago.
“Laura is a tremendous addition to the Chicago Bears family,” Warren said in a release. “During our time together at the Big Ten Conference, Laura served as a talented and creative driving force on our executive team, advancing our operations with financial excellence and a passion for collective growth. We are blessed to have Laura join our executive team at the Chicago Bears as we continue to build an innovative, global and aggressive NFL business model.”
The Bears have beefed up their number of executives under Warren. She’s their sixth senior vice president. The Bears have five more executive vice presidents.
