Half Moon Bay basketball player Zoey Lemoge is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for March 10-15.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Lemoge had 47.65% of the vote. Carondelet basketball player Celeste Alvarez took second, and Presentation softball player Julia Simón was third.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Lemoge, a junior, scored a game-high 18 points as Half Moon Bay battled Whitney-Cerritos before falling 48-40 in the CIF Division IV state championship game at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
