Boulder County residents banded together to stay safe during Lakeshore fire

Authorities activated its emergency notification system at 7:35 a.m. regarding a “person of interest” who ran from police. He is described as a male wearing a white shirt, jeans and carrying a backpack.

Residents in the area are being asked to lock exterior doors and windows.

Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity to either the non-emergency line at 303-441-4444 x2, or 911 if the resident is in danger or has seen someone matching the description of the suspect.
