At least one dead in fatal Northglenn crash Saturday

At least one person is dead in a fatal Northglenn crash that shut down 112th Avenue Saturday evening.

The crash happened near 112th Avenue and Fox Run Parkway, the Northglenn Police Department said in a 5:02 p.m. statement.

Police said 112th Avenue is shut down in both directions between York and Steele streets for the crash investigation. No estimated time of reopening was available Saturday evening.

The intersection and closed section of road are on the boundary of Thornton and Northglenn, just north of Carpenter Park and the Margaret Carpenter Recreation Center.
