At least 618 flights were canceled or delayed Tuesday at Denver International Airport amid light snow, fog, and frigid temperatures.
Fog and mist engulfed DIA Tuesday afternoon and temperatures hovered around 8 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
There were 563 delayed flights and 55 canceled flights as of 4:20 p.m., according to FlightAware tracking software.
Southwest had the most delayed flights with 178, followed by SkyWest, the airline that operates United Express, with 162 flights, and United Airlines with 149 flights, FlightAware data shows. Skywest had the most cancellations with 45.
