Amber Alert issued for abducted 7-year-old boy last seen near La Junta

A 7-year-old boy who was reportedly abducted by a 26-year-old woman was last seen in a white Ford Focus near La Junta, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said in an Amber  Alert on Monday.

Uriah Saye Jr. was last seen at around 12:50 p.m. in the 2012 Focus near Cheraw, 10 miles north of La Junta in Otero County, agency officials said in the alert. The vehicle has a Colorado temporary license plate 6812186.

He is described as Black; 4 feet, 8 inches tall; and 78 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Law enforcement officials allege he was abducted by Crystal Denmon, 26, who is described as Black; 5 feet, 2 inches tall; and 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Denmon is considered armed and dangerous and should not be contacted, CBI officials said in the alert. Anyone with information should call 911 or the Lakewood Police Department at 303-980-7300.
