Sean Hanneman, 56, tried to escape deputies on foot before he was tackled and taken into custody by members of the office’s Special Response Team, authorities said in a social media post.

He was booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest, violating the terms of his parole and outstanding warrants.

Hanneman is a felon who is accused of absconding from state parole in 2021. He was wanted for parole violations and escape in August, when deputies spent hours searching for him in the area of a Centennial home, from which officials say ran.
