Following a Friday night win, the Philadelphia 76ers are back on the court on Saturday, April 4, to face the Detroit Pistons.
Friday’s game included a healthy Sixers lineup, which involved the core group of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey.
George checked in for 38 minutes to score 23 points, six assists, six rebounds, and four steals. Embiid played for 34 minutes and accounted for 19 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists on the night.

Tyrese Maxey checked in for 35 minutes and put up 21 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. The Sixers took care of business against the Timberwolves with a 115-103 win.
Now, they have to close out the back-to-back against the Pistons.

The Sixers are starting Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre Jr., Paul George, and Andre Drummond.
The Sixers didn’t waste any time ruling out Joel Embiid. On Saturday morning, he was ruled out when the initial injury report dropped.
As for Paul George, he was probable. Maxey was listed, but described as available, keeping up with the same trend as the last couple of games.

With a 43-35 record, the Sixers are tied with the Toronto Raptors. However, the tie-breaker gives them the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference for the time being. Each game, including Saturday’s action against Detroit, carries plenty of weight.
The Sixers and the Pistons are slated for a 7 PM ET tip.
