6 injured in 4-car crash, including a police vehicle, in Aurora

Six people are injured in a four-car crash that involved a police vehicle on Monday night in Aurora, according to a post on X by the Aurora Police Department.

At 8:25 p.m., police posted that there was a crash involving multiple vehicles that had shut down the intersection of Alameda Parkway and Buckley Road. An update at 9:09 p.m. added that six people — three adults and three children — were injured in the crash. One of the adults has life-threatening injuries.

The police officer was uninjured, according to police.

The department’s traffic unit is conducting the investigation. No further details of the crash have been released.
