3 wounded in Englewood shooting

Three people were wounded in a shooting early Thursday in Englewood on the South Side.

Just before 2 a.m., the group was in an alley in the 5500 block of South Ada Street when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

A 23-year-old man was shot in his body and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

A 23-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were shot in their legs, police said. Both were taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition.

No one was in custody.
