3 teens wounded in Near West Side shooting

Three teens were wounded in a shooting on the Near West Side on Sunday night, Chicago police said.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 19-year-old man was shot in the ribs at 6:56 p.m. in the 100 block of North Wolcott Avenue. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the hand and grazed in the abdomen. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Police didn’t disclose the circumstances of the shooting. No one is in custody.
