Two people were hospitalized after a “domestic-related” shooting in Mount Prospect on Monday afternoon, police said.
Officials said a 63-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds in the enclosed parking garage of a condo building in the 1200 block of Northwest Highway shortly after 5 p.m. They were taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in critical condition. The woman was conscious and talking to detectives at the hospital.
An investigation is ongoing.
