Two women were wounded in a drive-by shooting early Friday in Kenwood on the South Side.
Around 4:45 a.m., the two women, both 34, were standing near the street in the 900 block of East 45th Street when a dark-colored vehicle approached and two gunmen shot at them, Chicago police said.
One of the women was shot twice in the shoulder and the other was shot in the flank, police said. Both were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where they were listed in good condition.
The gunmen fled in an unknown direction, officials said.
No one was in custody.
