2 women critically wounded in East Garfield Park shooting

Two women were critically wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

Around 12:40 a.m., the women, 22 and 23, were traveling in a vehicle in the 2800 block of West Fulton Street when someone exited a dark-colored vehicle and opened fire, Chicago police said.

Both women went to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to their bodies, police said. They were both listed in critical condition.

No one was in custody.
