Two suspects in a Humboldt Park armed robbery were arrested on Monday after a pursuit that led into the south suburbs.
A delivery driver was approached by two men who robbed him in the 800 block of North Spaulding Avenue at 1:43 p.m. before the men fled in a stolen Infiniti, police said. One of the passengers then shot into a residence near the intersection of East 74th Street and South Saint Lawrence Avenue. No one was injured.
Chicago and Sauk Village police chased the vehicle through the south suburbs until the vehicle was stopped by Illinois State Police near Vollmer Road and Central Avenue in Matteson, Illinois State Police said. The two people were arrested, and two firearms were recovered.
Charges are pending.
