2 forced into vehicle at gunpoint, robbed at Little Village ATMs

A man and woman were forced with withdraw money from several ATMs during an armed robbery early Thursday in Little Village.

Around 3 a.m., the man and woman, 48 and 39, were about to walk into a restaurant in the 3400 block of West 26th Street when a dark-colored SUV approached five males — three armed — walked into the restaurant with them and took property before forcing both of them into their vehicle, Chicago police said.

The man and woman were then driven to different ATMs and forced to withdraw money, police said. They were eventually released from the vehicle and refused treatment from paramedics.

No arrests were made and Area 3 detectives are investigating.
