Two people were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at an apartment complex in south Lakewood, police officials said Wednesday.
Lakewood Police Department officers were called to Snowbird Apartments, 3336 S. Ammons St., at 11:46 a.m. Tuesday for a welfare check and found a man dead from a stab wound in the living room and a woman dead in another room.
Lakewood officials did not clarify whether it was the man or woman who died by suicide. That information is still being investigated, spokesperson John Romero said.
The man and woman knew each other and were related, according to Lakewood police. The agency declined to release further information or the names of the man and woman because of the ongoing investigation.
