2 charged with attacking, robbing man at Garfield Red Line station

Two people have been charged with attacking and robbing a man Tuesday at a CTA Red Line station in Englewood.

The 44-year-old victim was at the Garfield Red Line station about 7:15 p.m. when a man and woman attacked him and took his belongings, Chicago police said.

Adrian Lee, 19, and Shania Hervey, 21, were arrested about 20 minutes later in the same area, police said. They are both charged with one felony count each of armed robbery, aggravated robbery and aggravated battery.

Lee, of Blue Island, and Hervey, from Auburn Gresham, are both due in court Thursday.
