One man is dead and another is in critical condition after they were shot in Lake View early Saturday, police said.
The men, both 22, were in a parking lot near Belmont Harbor in the 3500 block of North Belmont Harbor Drive around 12:40 a.m. when someone in a dark SUV fired shots, according to Chicago police.
One of the men, identified as Adher Luna, was shot in the head and died at the scene, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. The other was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the left arm and chest.
No one is in custody and Area Three detectives are investigating.
