<p id=”par-2_41″>Their relationship has repeatedly attracted public attention, partly because the Grammy-winning R&B singer and the Cash Money Records co-founder have kept many details of their personal lives private. But Braxton recently shared some never-before-seen images with fans from their wedding day.</p>
<p id=”par-3_34″>The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary recently and the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/toni-braxton-doesnt-like-un-break-my-heart.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>“Un-Break My Heart” singer</a> marked the day with a post featuring two photos of her smiling and looking lovely in her wedding gown. </p>

<p id=”par-4_70″>Braxton and Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, knew each other for many years before becoming romantically involved. Their friendship stretched back more than two decades when they collaborated on Birdman’s 2002 track “Baby You Can Do It.” Their romantic relationship became public in 2016, when they were seen together at events. Braxton later explained that their friendship developed naturally into something more and in 2018, Birdman proposed. </p>
<p id=”par-5_78″>Their engagement was announced during an episode of <em>Braxton Family Values</em>. However, in January 2019, fans learned that the two called it off when Birdman confirmed that they were done and Braxton removed photographs of him from social media. The split did not last long though. Later that month, Birdman surprised Braxton during one of her concerts in Atlanta, walking onto the stage as she performed. The two embraced and it was reported that they had reconciled. </p>
<p id=”par-6_66″>Over the years, Braxton and Birdman repeatedly faced rumors about the status of their relationship. The couple secretly married on Aug. 8, 2024. Days later, Braxton filed for divorce, listing Aug. 10, 2024, as their separation date. The story took another turn when she dismissed the divorce petition in early 2025, with Birdman also signing off on the dismissal. That meant the couple remained legally married.</p>
<p id=”par-7_19″>With so many ups and downs, many fans have wondered if Braxton and Birdman are a compatible pair. </p>
