In the days since, Dion has posted on social media about her love for the city, and Gaga waved to fans from her car. Though the full details of the opening ceremony are still unclear, <a href=”https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/lady-gaga-perform-olympics-2024-opening-ceremony-1235957365/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Hollywood Reporter</a> confirmed that Gaga will be performing at the opening ceremony.</p>
<p id=”par-3_44″>According to <a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.theguardian.com/sport/article/2024/jul/25/lady-gaga-celine-dion-perform-duet-paris-2024-olympic-opening-ceremony” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Guardian</a>, Gaga and Dion will perform a duet of Édith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” together. When asked, French President Emmanuel Macron did not confirm any details about the ceremony, but he expressed his excitement at Dion’s arrival in the city.</p>
