A decade ago, Charlize commented on how August was “growing like a weed.” She also said Jackson was an excellent older sibling. “I’m trying to hang on to my little baby, but she’s just fighting right through that, and she’s like, ‘I’m ready to go,’” Charlize told <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHT77gxQpW4″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Extra</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-8_22″>The actress also previously said on <em>The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon</em> that August had picked up martial arts as a hobby.</p>
<p id=”par-9_73″>“I think a stranger comes into my house at 3 a.m. because none of us use any of the words [my kids use],” she said in 2019. “The little one learned technical martial arts, like full technical wrestling grips. I don’t know where she learned it. … I came in the other day, and she literally had my assistant in, like, a back lock and a full grip, and she wouldn’t let go.”</p>

She’s really living her truth,’ ” she shared. “I look at them and just be like, ‘Do you know how f***ing great it is to live exactly how I want to live, to experience motherhood exactly how I wanted to experience it?’”</p>
