<p id=”par-2_73″>Wendy Williams and Sean “Diddy” Combs’ feud spans back to the ’90s. In 2005, Williams claimed on her radio show, <em>The Wendy Williams Experience</em>, that the girl group, Total, signed to Combs’ record label Bad Boy Records, nearly jumped her. In 2019, she revived the conversation and hinted that Combs was involved. Williams discussed her firing from Hot 97 in 2013 and hinted that Combs had to do with that as well. </p>
<p id=”par-3_34″>Additionally, Williams wrote in her book, <em>The Wendy Williams Experience</em>, that she has “contempt” for Combs. “I will never forget,” she wrote. “But I don’t hate him.” Williams and Combs buried the hatchet later.</p>
<p id=”par-4_43″>In 2024, Combs was arrested and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Williams has spoken out about the arrest. She gave more insight into the situation while speaking on <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ03Qson7AI” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM</a> in January 2025. </p>

<p id=”par-7_34″>“What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people, ‘Wendy, you called it,’” she told <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13908099/wendy-williams-breaks-silence-Diddy-sex-trafficking-arrest.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com</a> in October 2024, “including some people from my family who have said the same.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_16″>Williams referenced the footage of Combs attacking his then-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura,” in a hotel. </p>
<p id=”par-9_49″>“You know how I feel about that? <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/wendy-williams-says-time-diddy-was-arrested.html/”>It is about time,” Williams noted</a>. “To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled … it was just horrific. But now you have to think; how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It’s just so horrible.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_46″>In <em>The Wendy Williams Experience</em>, Williams elaborated on how <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sean-diddy-combs-dangerous-suge-knight-said-wendy-williams.html/”>Combs “hides” how dangerous he is</a>. “In my opinion, Puffy is a very dangerous man,” she wrote. “ … Puffy hides behind his shiny suits, which makes him more dangerous because you don’t necessarily see him coming.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_30″>Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to head to trial in May 2025. However, prosecutors predict that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/sean-diddy-combs-trial-date-likely-pushed-may-2025.html/”>the trial could get pushed</a> if a “superseding indictment” involving minors is filed. </p>
<p id=”par-12_69″>“Minors present a completely different set of circumstances,” Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor, told Law&Crime Network, according to <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13945871/diddy-sean-combs-live-updates-court.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>DailyMail.com</a>. “We know through his lawyers, Combs is arguing that the sexual activity happened, but it was consensual. Of course, for sex trafficking, you need one of those elements: force, thought, or coercion. Obviously, minors cannot consent to any sexual activity, so that would be a very different defense entirely.”</p>
<p id=”par-13_30″>Combs currently resides at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. While he hoped to attain bail earlier in his case, this didn’t happen. Alleged victims continue to come forward. </p>
